Who We Are
Stephanie Van Hassel
Stage Manager, Muenster
Big Cheese Theatre is one of a few passion projects of Stephanie Van Hassel, a long time educator and theatre enthusiast. Stephanie started her community theatre journey in 1997 when she joined a production of "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever." She was bitten by the acting bug and the rest, as they say, is history. Stephanie currently works at Pembroke Middle School as a Media Coordinator, co-owns a publishing business called Media Press, Inc., and owns Nerdy Collective, which is where rehearsals are currently housed.
Luke Cleveland
Creative Director, Gouda
Luke Cleveland currently resides in Hamlet at Ideal Farms! When he's not enjoying farm life, he teaches Spanish at Scotland County Schools. Luke has over ten years of experience running a theatre company in South Carolina (Coastal Productions) and has volunteered at a variety of local theatres in North Carolina as well.
